I'm so excited to share my new creation with everyone.....I've had this planned for a while now and the fabric sitting patently waiting for me to make it into a rug.
It took me about two days to complete, it would of taken me not as long if I didn't have to stop and do other things but I did it and love it! I always wanted a fun design rug for our living room, something to pull the eyes away from the green carpet, but those kind of rugs are to expensive. I did think about paint another rug but my sister Liz and I went to our favorite discount fabric store and found heavy duty upholstery fabric for $6.99 a yard.

This wasn't quite as simple as my painted rug but I truly appreciate the outcome of my creation.
Read my tutorial on how I made this rug here
Here is the fabric I chose.
This project cost me around $50.00
Here it is completed
The fabric is soft and goes with my couch.
I just love the neutral colors and the zebra pattern.
See my chair I painted and distressed? A post on that later.
I took tons of pictures, i just like a lot of them and couldn't decide on just a few.
Here it is when I first completed it, even Zoey loves it!
