A lovely shade of dark grey and fun yellow and light gray fabric gave this telephone table a fun new look.
the before
dark and boring, oh and very bad vinyl over old vinyl and a thin layer of batting for a cushion.
Color is Cement Gray by Martha Stewart but I colored matched it to Behr in Satin. The fabric is called "Leafy" by Erin Keiser exclusively for Suburban Home by Duralee.
I bought it at my local discount fabric store. My favorite thing about this fabric is the weaving and its so soft.
I gave the seat a new thick cushion and batting.
I love the outcome and now I might keep it......no I can't I dont have the room for it. I brought it to the Sowa and it defiantly had the most attention. Hes still available for sale.
Painting the inside was the hardest. I need to invest in short handle Purdy brushes.
Did you see my bicycle embroidery hoop art?
These sold yesterday. I definitely need to make more.
I will tell more about our fun day at the Sowa Open Market today or tomorrow...with pictures of our set up.
Today I'm cleaning the house......its been a mess and I really need to go grocery shopping.
I will be linking my telephone table up at some link parties, check out which ones here.

so cute! i love the color and fabric!
ReplyDeleteDarling! I really want to find a phone table but since we have been looking, none have come up. I really like the embroidery hoops too. Did you stamp or image transfer the bicycles onto the fabric? Very fun!
