Features & Simply Creations Link Party #60

 Welcome to Simply Creations Link Party! This is a party to share your creations! I'm always so thrilled to see what new creative projects you have to share or a fabulous room makeover on a budget and fun recipes to try out.

Before I get to the features I'd like to say that the kids have 9 more days of school left. I have big plans of lots of fun summer things to do. I plan on going to the beach more this year. A big camping trip by the ocean in early August and hopefully a trip to the New Jersey shore line for a beach cottage rental.

I also have a to do list around the house including painting our bedroom. This is on the top of my list and this upcoming Monday I'm going to start filling holes and moving things around. I just need to find that perfect gray color.

After this is will be painting our mudroom because this was something that was also suppose to happen a while ago and then on to smaller projects like adding some decorative molding or bead-board to the kitchen island and painting it a blue shade and of course making a new top for the kitchen table is a must.

I also have a few events I'd love to attend including the Vintage Bazaar and the Brimfield Antique Show.

1. Meeha Meeha made this fun diy notebook! I think this would be a great gift idea.

2. I'm still in love with chevron, Lolly Jane painted pine wood boards with a chevron stencil she made and used fun summer colors. 

3. Vixen Made has a great tutorial on making a diy fluted cake stand using a tart pan and a candlestick she bought from the dollar store!

4. I love this ikat french chair makeover by 551 East Furniture Design, she also shares some great tutorials on how to reupholster. Thanks to her its help me with some of my projects I'm working on.
