I think this is my favorite little piece of furniture.
I love bright but kept it simple so I only painted the front of this little three drawer dresser.
He makes me smile
The before
This is a stencil from Martha Stewart. Its the perfect size from small painting jobs. Its my second one as my first one melted when I was cleaning it. I was lucky to find a set at A.C Moore.
I sanded this little guy down to the bone and re-stained him in Minwax Classic Gray. I painted the drawer fronts and the trim in the front with Benjamin Moore's Gray Owl.....I had this from a sample size. The orange colour is a opps paint I picked up at the depot.
The knobs are vintage ceramic knobs...I have a bag full that I found at an estate sale. They are small but yet so perfect with this.
I love wood grain and this shows it off nicely and contrast well with the orange. This also looks very good next to my "oops blue" paint.
I think this guy will brighten up you room any day.
I'm sharing this beauty as some amazing link parties...find them here.
