The Telephone Table
This is the awesome telephone table that I painted for a client. I just wish it was mine now.
The beautiful color is del mar blue code-704 by Benjamin Moore.
The before
lovely mug and saucer made by my sister Liz.
the color looks more bold in these photos
and the details
They wanted distressing so I sanded and scraped areas that would normally wear naturally so the seat, edges and the legs were distress more.
I'm going to share the rest of the pieces on Sunday...I'm going to try and stay away from work this weekend.

Features & Simply Creations Link Party # 50
My link party is late tonight, I had to drive an 1 1/2 to help a family member out so basically I drove for 3 hours and I just finished making cupcakes for my son who is turning 8 tomorrow and I wanted him to bring them in for his class. I also was able to go to Hobby Lobby for the first time in my life. Its defiantly different then my average craft store. It was only 8 minuets from where I had to go so I had to go. I did only have 20 minuets to look around but I basically went straight to the wood numbers section and picked up three. I can't believe how cheap they are there. Then I went to the knob section which I had to ask a stranger where that was because it seems like they had one person working. I bought a bunch of knobs, not remembering what needed knobs but they were 50% off...what a deal. Anyway I'll stop my rambling and get to the quick features tonight.
Love the mix match chairs and this paisley table top by Lovely etc...she always amazes me.
Along with A Girl and Her Paint brush's beautiful work. Love this red desk/vanity, its the perfect shade.
By Wilma covered a lampshade is a fun fabric, that owl is pretty cute also.
Now on to the party

What's In Stock
I'm painting a lot this week. The custom pieces I finished two weeks ago is moving out on Saturday, which means more space so that I can work on more items at once. I can't wait to share those pieces with you. My favorite is the telephone table and I will post that tomorrow.
I finished painting the nightstand I mention earlier it just needs a finish and a knob. I order some pretty milk glass knobs for another piece and order more supplies for my knobs that I make. I have a big order to fill as soon as they come in the mail.
I also have a very interesting floor lamp to share when its complete. I'm very excited that I'm going to have some great pieces to post about.
any who here are some other items in my studio awaiting to be worked on.
the pictures below are not the prettiest....this is my work area
This is a great dresser for paper drawer fronts, I already have the paper picked out. This is also the heaviest dresser I have but it does have casters! The goodies on top are a vintage wood toolbox i scored from a school yard-sale and a piece of old molding that already have chipped paint.
Were lucky to have big back rooms to fill with pieces. I have two large mirrors on the left and metal stools, shelves, bar stools, chair and two very ugly lampshades. The black and gold one is in the process of getting the fabric removed, its going to be a very cool wire pendant light.
This area holds nightstands, side tables and the tall cabinet is glass. Someone glued paper on the front, I will be using tons of goo gone to remove that. To the left are some record side cabinets? I'm not sure what I'll do with those but my guy put them down here.
The nightstand to the right is the one I just finished. Underneath it is a small side table that has a magazine rack. There are some shelves and behind all of this is a very nice full size Pennsylvania House headboard.
There is actually another drop-leaf table similar to this one now and we just got a small drop leaf side table yesterday.
We are keeping it organized and trying to group similar items together. This area has all the chairs and a set of 4 butcher block bar-stools. Oh and the Victorian couch. It needs wood repair work and new fabric. I'm ordering a new pneumatic staple gun so when I get that then I'll tackle the upholstery jobs.
and last the two lovely chairs in need of love.
I have another area filled with wood, a old column and a very old pedestal table.
I know I have a lot, I actually have more since these photos were taken. At least I know I have enough for the Sowa this spring and fall.
