Weekend update and Bedroom color trends

How was everyone's weekend? Friday was a relaxing movie night with dinner delivered. Saturday was my sister Liz's birthday! We drove into Harvard Square in Boston and stopped at Urban Outfitters to check out there bargain basement then walked to Anthropologie were my sister found the cookbook she wanted on clearance for half the price. For dinner we stopped at a little interesting restaurant that I can not remember the name but I got there house ground cheeseburger and split homemade cheese fries with my sister.
Once we were stuffed we drove over to the other side of Boston were we went to see a concert and that was the best part.

Today we are having family over for dinner, my other half is making baked haddock and baked potatoes....yum. One thing I dont cook is fish.
I did get to paint more on that dresser this morning and tonight I will work on it some more and tomorrow I want to finish up a pillow cover I'm making.

Now on to some color trends for the bedroom

I'm really into the colors gray, blue and yellow together. Here are some photos I came across on Decor Pad.

I love the yellow and white striped headboard and that nightstand. The wallpaper is gray glasscloth. I'm not to crazy about the dark green accents.

Those lamp sconces are very interesting along with the padded wall for the headboard.

I love this bed and the vertical stripes. The nightstands go great with the bed.

The paint color is almost black but I like the bedding and the pillows.

This is another favorite because of the wallpaper. It is a fun design but doesn't seem like to much like some wallpaper can be. I wouldn't mind doing a room in our house with wallpaper like this.

This black wallpaper is pretty amazing. The white upholstered bed is perfect against the dark walls. I love the bedding too.

I found this picture from apartment therapy. I'm not to crazy about the bed, but I do like the wallpaper and the  light above the bed.

I like how all the bedding and pillows have a variety of color in them. Look at that rug!

I do like modern style as much as I love it mixed with old but I just like the way this bedroom is set up, simple and clean.

I really can wait till I get to start on our master bedroom.

I'm also getting itchy about spring, I can't wait till the yard sales! We are even doing a big family yard sale which will be great because we have a lot of stuff downstairs I want to try and sell and if not I'll donate it. But I need more room for furniture.

Are you ready for spring? And spring cleaning?
