I've seen this easy recipe from a few bloggers and one I even featured so I had to try it out myself.
Make sure to check out the way they did it, I followed there recipe and its very simple.
They are also yummy!
I used this box mix and frosting with Hersey's chocolate.
Bake the cake following the directions on the box, let cool.
I cut the cake and placed in a bowl and mixed the frosting in the bowl. I placed the bowl in the freezer to chill for about an hour.
Then formed then into a small ball shape
I used a big pot and heated the water to almost a boil
and placed the smaller pot with the chocolate chips into the bigger pot of water to melt the chocolate, this is a great way to do it without burning the chocolate, add a little bit of milk to make it smoother.
Then I dipped the balls into the chocolate using a fork and placed it back onto the pan and sprinkled sprinkles on them.
I placed them into the fridge to harden and then the kids ate most of them!
I also threw in some almonds into the chocolate and made some chocolate covered almonds. Yum.
