Hall Lamps Makeover Part 2 { Completed Lamps }

With updated fabric lampshades and a fresh coat of gray satin paint I gave these lamps a makeover.

This is what the lamp looked like before

{for some reason I could only find a old Halloween photo of them }

The lamps I bought a year and half ago for $7.58 a piece at Target, a great price because they were $30 originally. The lampshades were what I had to use at the moment, not my favorite.
I liked the dark wood weave look but because they are on my harvest table and I'm pretty sure I wont ever paint it so I wanted the lamps to be a little bit brighter then the table.

For the tutorial on the fabric lampshades you can find that here.

I used a gray by Martha Stewart's new paint collection by Plaid.

I also used her new foam pouncer set on the lamps, instead of using a brush or spray paint this was easy and did a great job. These were defiantly worth the $5, they also wash easily.
I actually picked up a stencil as well, I used coupons for everything.

I'm defiantly happy with the outcome, it took me about 20 minuets to paint the lamps and an hour to redo the lampshades.

Basically these lamps and shades cost me about $16.50 each, that's including the lamp, shade, fabric, trim, paint.
