Server in Schoolhouse Slate and Tailor's Chalk

Here it is, finally finished...after working on it for a very long time it seems

{ Now }

{ Before }

This is a old server, it was scratched, dirty but had potential and its beautifully detailed.
I gave this server 2 coats of primer, and 3 coats of paint.

The gray is called Schoolhouse Slate by Martha Stewart

The white paint is called Tailors Chalk also by Martha

The cute knobs are called Ripe Melon Pulls and they are from Anthropologie

 { The legs }

 original casters

The inside taken using flash

without
{you can see some rippling in the wood inside, this is typical for a old piece.

I gave this 3 coats of wax

The doors were really hard to open so my guy helped me fix them, we kept the original hinges and he just moved them to help the doors shut and open better.

The top got an extra coat of paint.
I distressed the edges of this piece but didn't distress the top of the server.

I finally bought Photoshop Elements 10 this weekend. It was a late b-day gift for myself, so I had some fun with it. I also learned how to watermark my images that's why some have it but not all.
Defiantly worth the money

This is the last picture I promise, I have such a hard time not sharing them all.

I also haven't finished a piece in a while so I'm really happy to share photos with you!

This server is for sale....I'll be posting it up in my shop section with dimensions soon.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

plus I'm almost done with the striped coffee table!

I will be sharing this server at many link parties, and you can find them all here
