Owl & Camera Print and Some Pillows

I finally hung the prints I bought a few weeks ago from the Motivate Clothing Co. At $4 a print it was well worth it.

The thing was I tried finding picture frames for the two prints but couldn't find any I like. So I painted two frames from my studio in the same color as my wall, Classic Gray by Benjamin Moore. I really wanted the print to stand out not the frame.

Since they did not have backings or glass I screwed in tiny screw eye hooks and tied white twine through them across the top and bottom of the frame. Then used tiny clothespins to hold the string to the paper.

The prints came rolled up so they haven't flatten out yet.

I just love the pop of blue on the owl. I'm obsessed with owls, foxes and deers.

So I have a few more things to complete in our room makeover.

Like finding a way to hind the dvd, radio and antenna.

and now for a few peaks

I decided to keep this to hold the remotes....unfortunately the TV one is the only one that doesn't fit.

Here is my fox pillow. I had some iron on transfers for dark colors so I decided to add something to this pillow cover I made a while ago out of fabric napkins.

I used the same transfers and made pillow covers out of a linen type fabric. The deer came from here Free Vintage Digi Stamps

and the owl came from Wikipedia

I can't wait to finish up the room. I dont have to much more to do!

Sunday night I have a cute craft to share for the winter holidays. Make sure you come back and see.
