Christmas Dining Room

Our Christmas was wonderful.

Although I didnt have enough time to share my dining room before I'm sharing it today and I have a few other Christmas post to share another day.

For now here is the dining room with my new table.

My theme this year mostly throughout the house was a winter woodland theme. I used the same runner I made three years ago. Its a bit longer for the new table but I love this table so much more then the older one.

I mixed silver and gold for the table and set it simply since we sit down for brunch in here and the kitchen. Anyone can sit anywhere basically.

Here is another view of the new table.

I made the two felt trees and bought the sweater one at Target...on sale of course. I also decorated the table with chocolate deers wrapped in gold foil.

I hung my faux garland on the window. It already had the bulbs hanging on it from last year.

I ended up buying a faux tree last min...it was on sale for $18 and I had the room for it in the dining room. So I put white lights on it and my grandmother's vintage blue and gold ornaments. At least I know I can put it up early next year.

I put some of my clay ornaments on it

along with this glittery stag head

but my favorite new item for this room was the stag head napkins I bought after Thanksgiving. I placed them on top of the plate to show them off.

Here is the table from last year....

This week I'm going to share some more Christmas decor in between painting some new items for my space and working on my craft room.

Have a Happy New Year!

I will be sharing my dining room at some link parties...click here to see which ones
