I love mid century pieces and this one is my favorite I've seen. It's technically a credenza and once had a hutch top. Now its the perfect height for a TV stand, in front of a bed or anywhere really.
The bright yellow pulls gives this a punch. The dark gray which is Kendall Charcoal by Benjamin Moore goes very nicely with the dark walnut wood.
I'm always satisfied with BM's paint and how it coats nicely.

I sanded this down with my handy electric sander and then coated with two coats of stain blocking primer. I gave the top and drawer fronts three coats of paint and the sides 2. After painting it I refinished the wood edging on the top and bottom with dark
one side is all open
and the other has two shelves, great for dvd players.
The before pictures are dark..since I waited to take them when it was sitting on the sawhorses awaiting to be sanded.
the doors sanded
and one more shot of it finished
Isn't he lovely?
I will be sharing my very mid century and yellow piece at some link parties...click here to see which ones
