Arrow Desk & Aqua Chair

Here is another furniture makeover that I brought to the Vintage Bazaar this spring.

I call this the arrow desk. I have been loving arrows for a long time now but they are even more trendy this year. I decided this desk would be perfect for this design because the drawer fronts are flat and have no knobs.

I painted the desk in Benjamin Moore's Cheating Heart and the white is just plain white from BM.

I used blue tape to create the lines and rolled on the white paint. No ruler, just eyed it.

The desk is long and narrow. He is still for sale but in storage for now. I will bring him to my space at Crompton when I have the room.

The before

Whats really interesting about this desk that I love are how the drawer fronts slant its hard to see it in the photos.

Now to the aqua chair

This was a simple and quick redo. I used my favorite un-named paint and this fun yellow and gray designer fabric I had in my collection.

Here is the before

I took the photo just before priming it. The previous fabric was very outdated.

Before this post I shared the Mid Century couch makeover, you can see that post here

I'm still shocked its August. What happened to July? It went by so fast. I feel satisfied. I took the kids to the beach and our local pond many times and enjoyed water gun fights and sprinkler fun outside.

I haven't been working much at all. I do get a little anxiety when I don't paint or create but I also know that I can work as soon as the kids go back to school.

I also have many many more photos to share from the show.....I worked so hard on painting furniture that I don't not want to share!

So stay tuned in for the next post!
