Today I'm sharing two makeovers, mainly because I photographed them together. They also both sold at the fall vintage bazaar.
Yesterday I shared this mid century modern bookcase.
This pretty little table was painted in a coral color. I painted the edges in gold leafing paint by Martha Stewart that I found at Michael's arts and crafts.
The coral color is called Tangerine Dream ( 2012-30 ) by Benjamin Moore.
I used the very same stencil as I did for the blue stenciled table. The only difference is I took a pencil and traced around the inside of the stencil and get the lines skinny. I hand-painted over the lines using a small artist brush. I kept the inside the same color.
For the blue chippy table I used my wax technique that I have a tutorial on here.
I used a BM gray color for the undertone and my popular "oops" blue paint that has no name.
During sanding I snapped a photo...
and did the same while sanding the long table
I've decided its almost time for a new camera....I have two basic ones as of now and both take okay photos. I need to do some research and I'll be ready to get a beginners DSLR camera.
I has more furniture to share and will be posting another one soon.
I will be sharing the coral stenciled & blue table makeover at many awesome link parties, you can see which ones here.
