It feels good to share a furniture redo again. I feel like a lot of weight has been lifted off my shoulder now that the Vintage Bazaar is over....until next June. I really enjoy being a part of the show and will definitely be there again next June and Fall.
Of course I didn't have time to get photos before going so some of the photos will be taken from the show. This lovely mid century modern bookcase sold the second day of the show. The mint color defiantly had people looking over at it.
This has to be my favorite black....Black Iron 2120-20 by Benjamin Moore. It is more a chalkboard black and I used a flat knowing I'd be waxing it to give it a bit of a sheen. I've already decided I'm going to paint my half bathroom this color.
This was the first time using this mint color....I often just buy a pint sample size at my local hardware store....its about $5.50 with my business discount and if you don't love it you didn't spend much. I always end up liking the colors I pick.
This color is Lime Tart 2033-40 also by BM
I painted the inside as well.
My milk glass collection popped on the shelf.
The only photo I got while sanding...I really need to work on this before photo taking
Above you can see my Halloween buntings...which should be in my etsy shop soon....I will also be giving away a bunting soon on my blog. So stayed tuned in.
I will be sharing the mid century modern bookcase makeover at many awesome link parties, you can see which ones here.
