This was a super simple redo. I sanded down the coffee table to bare wood. It was prevously stained darker. I re-stained it with Minwax's dark walnut and then I painted over it with the light gray blue color. I can't remember the name but will figure it out and add it asap.
I wanted the stain to show through so once it dried and sat a few days I went over the paint with my electric orbital sander. That sander went to tool heaven after this job. I ended up purchasing a DeWalt orbital sander and found out it is the best one out there.
I hand sand the edges and the legs.
For a protective top coat I used a clear wax.
Its a nice size coffee table...especially for small space like my sitting room. I brought this to my booth at Crompton Collective and it already sold.
Coffee tables seem to be the most popular to sell there.
Since I'm working on my new macbook all the time now I keep forgetting my older pictures are still on the other computer. I will update this post with the before photo when I find it.
I will be sharing my coffee table at the link parties on my link party page click here to see them all.
