Our Christmas Tree

This years Christmas tree is by far my favorite one. Its also the biggest. Its shape was perfect and full in the right places. We bought it from our local Lions club. They sell wonderful trees every year. At $48 it was affordable as well.

I let the kids go crazy with decorating it. Letting them hang the ornaments on it wherever they want after I hang the lights and my vintage fruit garland and a few of my favorite ornaments. Of course I have to go around move some because they tend to pile ornaments on the same branch.

I had more fun this year with wrapping gifts. I bought most of my paper from Hobby Lobby in November. It was on sale for $3.99 a roll for the 100sqf of the black and white chevron heavy duty paper. I wish I bought an extra roll for everyday use. I did pick up a roll of the tan tribal pattern paper at Target also.

I used my own tags and ribbon I had on hand. I picked up some of these metal buckets from Target on clearance to hold gifts and to give as a gift.

I picked up the wood grain laundry bag/basket from Tjmaxx for a gift for my sister in law. They are really cute and you can hold a lot of laundry in it.

I love using baskets and trays also for gift giving.

This is my last post of sharing our Christmas fun. I'm working on my post of my favorite furniture makeovers for 2013 and my goals for the new year.

Here are my latest Christmas posts you can catch up on also
