I refinished the top and painted the base on this mini drop leaf side table. The top is stain in provincial by Minwax...the same as my Provincial Desk.
The base color is a gray that I mixed myself using leftover paint and a I made it into chalk paint using plaster of paris. I like the way it coats nicely and sands easy with a sanding block.
I used rub on polyurethane for a protective coat. I did the same with the Provincial Desk I realized I forgot to mention that. Its my preferred method on stain furniture. It adds a little shine and protects but its also very easy to apply.
I bought this creamer pitcher at Home Goods before Christmas to use at our party. They had a larger water and milk one but I only picked up this one.
I often have fun with little pieces of furniture like this. I do happen to have two larger drop leaf tables that I need to makeover soon.
This little guy is available at my booth in Crompton Collective.
I will be sharing my mini drop leaf table at the link parties on my link party page click here to see them all.
