First look how cute Harper was as a owl for Halloween! I first saw this costume in the summer and knew that she had to be this adorable owl. She is 7 months old now and this was in size 12 months. She is such a happy and sweet baby, we are so lucky to have her.
Okay so we are so close to finishing Harper's room! Here is my inspiration board for Harper's room. The ceilings, trim and walls are all painted. The wall color came out amazing, just like i vision it. This color is what I wanted in our bedroom but was to dark for our room. But its perfect for hers, she gets so much natal light. We chose Gray Owl for the walls and Simply White for the trim by Benjamin Moore.
We started putting down the flooring the other day!
The next project will be the baseboard, built in shelving and bench and her closet needs to be finished as well.
I'm going to start making her roman shade soon. I also need to get white curtain panels. I already have her curtain rod. I'm also on the hunt for a affordable area rug for her room. I'm finding a lot of options but its so hard to choose. I'm working on little projects for her room long the way.
When I was waiting to paint her walls I started working on a few other projects. We have been having nice weather for November in New England so I did some spray painting outside and I finished painting my dining room hutch.
I will be sharing the hutch in the next post. It turned out amazing. I love the way it looks now. Before I tried selling it on craigslist because I thought I wanted open shelving. But decided I didn't want to have to dust all the time. So glad I went with painting it.
