This blog post is probably my biggest amount of photos ever. I just couldn't help myself and only pick a few so I'm warning you now....I'm also very late on sharing this.
Harpers room is finished...yes finished. I started decorating the built-in as soon as I could with light objects since the paint needs to cure. This is why there is not a lot on the shelves yet.
The chalkboard walls are my favorite. My amazing guy built all of this from mostly free items. He did design it and I was a little disappointed with the how much space was in between the top and middle shelves. I realized we could always add more shelves down the road. The bottom part is a seating area and is for baskets that will hold toys.
I drew the mountain seen as soon as the chalkboard paint cured. I really like how it turned out. I'm planning on putting books and art and items she can't play with.
This garland was bought a few years ago after Christmas from Target. I've had it in our kitchen above the windows but they look really pretty in her room.
After I took most of these pictures I ended up adding a few more decorations after finding them in storage. So there are a few things that are different like this super mini felt bunting hung of the garland.
This is a vintage paper advent calendar from Germany.
This is a little moss tree with some geometrical and old fashion looking ornaments. I shared the other day our kitchen sitting room where I have another one of these. Its sitting on my merry and bright banner so it doesn't stick to the paint.
My mom gave Harper a singing gingerbread house, the fox is from IKEA and the pillow is from Target.
This bicycle pillow is also from Target from about 3 years ago.
I hung one of my felt wreaths and a little arrow ornament my sister bought me last year. You can see my original post here and a link to the tutorial.
I made this roman shade out of fabric and a mini blind and it was my hardest one because it is so large and this was the widest blind I could find so I'm hanging curtains up to hide the sides. I will share more about this when I show the rest of her room.
The other day Harper and I took a trip to IKEA and picked up the rug I wanted, curtains, and a few other goodies.
She is growing up so fast. I love taking photos of her on her built in with the chalkboard walls.
I still have a few more Christmas posts to share and I know I'm behind but I usually always seem to share these after Christmas. It just mazes me how fast this holiday comes and goes.
I will be sharing the rest of Harper's room when I finish a few decor projects.
