Harper turned 9 months old on Christmas. I get so sad when she turns a new month old.
I did have a lot of fun taking photos of her for Christmas and dressing her up. She has so far been great at sitting and letting me take them.
These photos were all taken on her built in. Her room gets the best light and the chalkboard wall makes a great backdrop. You can see my latest post on her built in HERE.
Her white and gold poke a dot dress is from Target and is by Carter's. The pink headband, her shoes, tights and the cute little faux fur purse is also from Target. I bought everything on black friday and all clothes and accessories were 40% off. The dress was about $12, the shoes were under $5 and so was the purse. I don't remember how much the headband was.
I used my be merry clay bunting for a prop.
I had to take a photo with her new coat. I also found this at Target and it has gold sparkly thread in it and bunny ears.
Harper's first Christmas went extremely well. She enjoyed seeing her gifts being open and playing with her new toys. She is into throwing toys and toys that make noises. We bought her a little ride on car from Fisher Price that makes music and she scoots around on it.
She has been able to pick up small pieces of food since 7 months old. She loves scrambled eggs and Happy Baby organic green munchies. She prefers drinking her water from her straw sippy cup over a regular one. She still doesn't care to be on her tummy. She loves standing at her play table. She has no interest in crawling but does like it if we hold her hands and have her walk a bit.
She has two bottom teeth and three top teeth, with more coming. She's been a trooper through teething with occasional sleepless nights. Other then that she is really a happy baby. She babbles like crazy.
I can't wait to finish up a few things for he room before I take photos and share. I'm working on wall art and I'm sure I'll add new things down the road but I will be sharing her room soon.
