I kept my Halloween mantel simple with items that can be used for fall and of course my favorite wooden fox figurines are basically up all year round along with the window turned mirror. .
I only bought two items for the mantel this year and that was the pumpkin paper banner from Target and the wood trick or treat banner from Michaels Arts and Crafts. I left it unfinished, I might still stain it if I can get to it before Halloween.
The felt wreath I made a while back and have the tutorial HERE
The candlesticks have been on the mantel for a while and I added a tray I spray painted chalkboard paint, the black birds, the fall trees with fall colored ornaments.
Here is how the area in front of my fireplace has been looking for a long time now, pillows in the front of the stone are for Harper...The decorative suitcases I added to keep her from climbing through and the bench is there so the fireplace screen doesn't fall. Its a mess but it works for now. Not the best photo but I figured I'd share it. This is how it is around here and toys are everywhere.
I would love to paint this fireplace someday and add woodwork around the sides and a larger mantel someday.
I hope you enjoyed my simple Halloween mantel and take a look at my mantel in the past below
I do want to announce that my Etsy shop should be opening November 1st until a few weeks before Christmas. I know I have had my shop closed for several months but I'm happy to open it for the Holidays.
