I had a great weekend. We delivered the drop leaf coffee table to the buyer in New Haven Connecticut. I will miss it. On our way we stopped in this local resale store and I scored this 1960's blue Smith and Corona Sterling typewriter. It cost me $15. It came with the original case, extra ribbons, original certificate and a few other booklets. Its in great condition. I'm going to give it a good cleaning and replace the ribbon and test it out.
I also dragged my guy into the Restoration Hardware store and picked up a sample of paint and this fan deck.
Now I'll have more options of paint colors for my custom painting customers.
I was very surprised to see these nightstands and shelf sitting outside when I came back from dropping the kids off at the bus.
They are cute and old. I already have knobs for these thanks to my sister who picked them up today.
My guy brought home a bunch of frames also today.
Some creepy paintings and prints and a few good ones like a original Frost The Snowman print from the 50's.
I have plans for the frames.
a rusty bike, I believe its to hang on the wall.
This vintage step stool that was made from The Paris Manufacturing Company in South Paris, Maine.
Its not easy to see.
I did some research and couldn't find much.
Today I worked on the custom painting.
Here is the telephone table so far. Its painted in BM Del Mar Blue, its a bit darker in person.
Here is one of the headboards, painted in White Dove by BM.
I can't wait to start distressing them to see the blue peak through.
I will share everything when I'm finished. Now I'm off to go make some ice cream with my new ice cream maker.
